Introduction

After passing 10+2, it is of utmost importance for students to choose their career paths. Among the plethora of career options that are present today, students need to decide if they want to pursue their future studies in College or any University where multiple options are available. Sometimes, the excessive amount of undergraduate courses lead the students to get confused as to which degree they should opt for. One such instance can be seen in the courses namely BSc (which stands for Bachelor of Science) and BEng (which stands for Bachelor of Engineering). Though these two disciplines seem to have similarities because they belong to the umbrella school i.e. Science, some minute differences are present between the two which shall be talked about in this article.

BSc vs. BEng

The key difference between BSc and BEng is that Bachelor of Science mainly includes the general science subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology. On the other hand, a Bachelor of Engineering is more concerned about the subjects that lead students to understand what engineering is. BSc is theoretical whereas BEng is practical.
